On February 14, Iranians and friends of Iran will gather in three major cities , Toronto, Los Angeles, and Munich , to stand together for one clear message:
The Islamic Republic does not represent the Iranian people.
This is not just a political statement. It’s a lived reality for millions of Iranians who have endured decades of repression, fear, censorship, imprisonment, and violence , often simply for asking for basic human rights.
The world must stop trusting the regime
No country should trust the ruling clerics (“mullahs”) of the Islamic Republic. And no country should do business as usual with this government , because trust is earned through truth, accountability, and respect for human life.
This regime has repeatedly shown the opposite.
- It kills and imprisons people for protesting, speaking, or demanding freedom.
- It doesn’t hesitate to harm its own citizens , and that tells the world everything it needs to know about how dangerous it can be beyond Iran’s borders.
- It has a long history of deception, especially when it comes to sensitive issues like nuclear activity, hidden sites, and international agreements.
- It lies about the numbers , about how many people have been killed, detained, or harmed.
When a government lies once, it can lie again. When it signs something once, it can break it again. A signature means nothing without real accountability.
“Deals” and “guarantees” are not protection against deception
Some political leaders still believe they can “make a deal” with the Islamic Republic , even if the regime signs documents and offers guarantees.
But we’ve seen this story before.
Even if they promise:
- no nuclear weapons,
- no missiles,
- no proxy forces outside Iran,
they can still violate it quietly and deny it publicly.
What’s the point of paper promises if the other side can simply lie again tomorrow?
A deal without enforcement is not diplomacy , it’s a delay. And delays cost lives.
A threat to Iranians , and a threat to the world
The Islamic Republic is not only a threat to the people inside Iran. By supporting and empowering proxy networks and destabilizing regions, it becomes a threat to other nations and innocent people globally.
The world should not reward a government that survives through fear, repression, and deception.
What the international community should do
It’s time for the world to act based on reality , not hope.
- Stop treating the Islamic Republic as the legitimate voice of Iranians.
- Reduce and restrict diplomatic normalization that gives the regime credibility.
- Support human rights accountability for crimes against the Iranian people.
- Stand with the people , not with dictators.
At minimum, the world must stop pretending this regime is “business as usual.”
February 14: Show up. Speak out. Stand together.
This is why Toronto, Los Angeles, and Munich matter.
Because when Iranians unite across the world, they remind everyone:
Iran is not its regime.
Iranians are not represented by dictators.
And the world must stop empowering a government that survives by crushing its own people.
If you believe in freedom, human dignity, and peace , stand with Iranians on February 14.
No trust in dictators.
No legitimacy for the Islamic Republic.
Iran belongs to its people.
Here’s a strong paragraph you can add to your blog post (cleaned up, powerful, and clear):
Their time is over , and history will remember who stood where
The Islamic Republic’s time is over. Sooner or later, they will be gone. But the Iranian people will never forget who helped keep them in power. Erdogan did his best to protect this regime. Qatar did its best to protect this regime. Not because they care about Iranians , but because it benefits them. They chose their interests over Iranian lives.
And let this be clear: the Iranian people will never forget real friends , and we will never forget real enemies. Every country, every president, every official who supports this regime today is making a choice that will be judged forever. This is a moment in history where there is a right side and a wrong side , and people will remember your true colors.
Sooner or later, the world will have to deal with a new government of Iran , a government chosen by the people. So choose wisely today: stand with the Iranian people, not with their oppressors. Because tomorrow, when Iran is free, the future will belong to those who stood for justice , and it will not forgive those who stood with dictatorship.
